Gastronomy

Caruso
Pempelfort
A great variety of seafood, fresh vegetables from the earth, Italian cuisine and „Ars Vivendi“ – this is the recipe which makes the fish restaurant Caruso so popular. Especially nice: The small international wine list with fair prices.
D’Vine
Bilk
Here a seasonally changing menu awaits you with German-French creations and Mediterranean influences. Chef, Christoph Suhre, focuses specifically on innovative accents. There are more than 70 kinds of European wines – which can be ordered by the glass – on the wine list.
Im Nordpark Café Restaurant
Stockum
Located in the immediate vicinity of Messe Düsseldorf, this is a wonderful location to escape from everyday stress. Kikaku
Stadtmitte
One of the Japanese standards in Düsseldorf, which has been here for over 35 years and which has much more to offer than only sushi. Especially the evening menu offers a large selection of unusual starters.
Malkasten
Stadtmitte
Located directly at the edge of the idyllic Jacobi Park, the Malkasten offers a modern, international cuisine with seasonal and regional ingredients in its different dining rooms – on the terrace and in the beer garden. The various art exhibitions, regularly presented by the host – der Düsseldorfer Künstlerverein (the Düsseldorf Art Association) - provide a charming setting.
Restaurant La Contessa
Lörick
The restaurant with a personal atmosphere. You can look forward to an Italian visit in a very special atmosphere. Be it for a small pasta dish at noon, for an undisturbed business lunch or for dinner with family and friends; here you can enjoy top Italian cuisine with exquisite wines and always with friendly service.
Restaurant Spoerl Fabrik
Pempelfort
A hidden jewel located in the backyard of the historical Spoerl factory. Sophisticated crossover cuisine with home-made products, an uncomplicated atmosphere and French ambience enthuse the in-scene and business people alike. Art Deco lamps, giant golden-trimmed mirrors and an antique counter contribute to the special charm of the restaurant. Unbeatable in summer: The idyllic garden far away from hectic life and street noise, in the middle of the city. For example, tomato-vanilla soup, octopus ravioli with orange-fennel salad and sesame crème or filet mignon with truffled turnips and goose liver spume.
Taverna Filos
Derendorf
Dance of the Greek cuisine! Enjoy delicacies of the modern Greek cuisine in the friendly atmosphere of the „Taverna Filos“ restaurant – because: “Filos” means “friend”. Daily changing dishes and selected wines round off the offer. On warm days, there is also the possibility to dine outside on the terrace of the restaurant.
Trattoria La Galleria
Pempelfort
For many decades this restaurant has been at the same location. The creative patron has invented a new grill system and serves excellent Italian cuisine. An affiliated cooking school reveals tips and tricks for wonderful Mediterranean dishes.
Weinhaus Tante Anne
Altstadt
If you go out to eat, the history of a restaurant normally does not play a role. In this case, however, the special ambience of the location is the icing on the cake. Built in the year 1593, it was a private chapel and a chapel for the sick. At that time it belonged to a Jesuit cloister, but now the restaurant belongs to the sixth generation of the Oxenfort family and is one of the best restaurants in Düsseldorf. The soul – and at the same time the name giver – is the wine cellar with more than 400 different kinds of wine.
