More than 30 years ago, the first steakhouse opened up in Berlin. Today there are approximately 60 restaurants in Germany and Austria, four of which are in Düsseldorf. The menu in all restaurants ranges from juicy steak standards of South American beef to lamb and pork steaks to poultry and fish dishes – everything prepared over an open fire. Fresh salads round off the menu.

Schumacher is Düsseldorf‘s oldest brewery with its main building in Oststraße and a pub in Bolker Straße. The history of Schumacher “Alt” beer goes back to the year 1838. “Latzen“ beer is part of this tradition, a strong beer with 5.3 % Vol.. This beer is only served every third Thursday in March, September and November. Namely in the past, the brewing masters kept the best beer for themselves („op de Latt“).
